2010 is the "year of the digit".
They're everywhere...numbers that is.
One of the latest decorating accessories
is the "number orb".
You've probably seen them all over the place...
a little white porcelain ball
with a black number printed onto it.
(I found a set of 20 for $9.99 at Marshalls.)
I turned 4 (inexpensive) stemmed glasses upside down
(and used a handcrafted vase).
I placed an orb on top of each one to
create my daughter's date of birth

I then placed a black and white (2007) photograph of us together
behind the glasses and
VOILA!
A cute little display idea for number orbs!
