My Favorite Things

So, I may be easily amused, but I truly get excited each month

when my favorite magazines hit the shelf.

I look forward to some relaxation time...

 A cup of coffee and page after page

of inspiring photos that take me away for just a while. 

I picked up the new copy of Romantic Homes tonight.

I'm about to put my little one down and then off I go...

Some of My Favorites...

I am fascinated by anything beautiful and vintage.

I am fascinated by anything with cottage charm.

I am fascinated by anything with farmhouse appeal.

I am fascinated by anything with a history behind it...

well, almost anything.

I love birds, french decor, farmhouse treasures,

cottage furnishings,

mercury glass, the colors green and blue, aged photo frames,

flowers, vintage linens, clocks, old kitchen utensils,

glass jars, vintage tins, COFFEE, old music, milk bottles, old chairs,

teacups, chandeliers, old books and sheet music,

candles, bird cages, mirrors, diamonds and pearls,
old postcards, vintage art, burlap,

lace, velvet, chenille, floral fabric, barn wood, silver, old photographs...

These are just some of the things that put a sparkle in my eye!

I could probably name a million others, but these are the things

that fill my home and bring comfort into my life.

My Favorite Fall Treat!

Fall has always been my favorite season.

I love the cool air, the sound of windchimes blowing in the breeze, the sounds of a football game playing on tv,

and a warm cup of hot cider!

I've always been a huge fan of

Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang,

so imagine my excitement last year

when I found this

Snoopy Tin filled with Caramel Apple Hot Cider!

You can only find it in the fall

and I've been searching the stores

for the past month just waiting for it to arrive!

I had my "momma's day out" yesterday

and decided to stop by Home Goods

(which I'd never been to before and LOVE!)

They had 4 tins of my favorite Snoopy Cider

on their shelf and I bought them all!

My husband loves it even more than I do

and my daughter had her first taste of it

last night.

We made chocolate chip cookies and had

our Snoopy Apple Caramel Hot Cider

(hers being lukewarm).

What a great way to welcome Fall!

(I know...it's technically not Fall,

but we've had some great

Fall-like weather

here in Colorado this past weekend!)
